The podiatrist will perform a health check, assess the blood flow and sensation in your feet. Please bring a list of any medications you may be taking.

The podiatrist will then trim and reduce any thickened nails. Remove any hard skin and painful corns if necessary.

To finish the treatment a nourishing nail oil and a softening moisturiser will be applied to your feet.

We will discuss the nature of the lower limb, foot or ankle complaint. The podiatrist will assess your range of motion so we please wear loose clothing or wear/bring shorts to the appointment.

Your walking style (gait) will be observed and footwear checked, so please bring the shoes/trainers you wear on a regular basis. 

Your podiatrist will discuss the outcome of the assessment and a bespoke treatment plan will be created.

A routine appointment which can include nail cutting and thickened nails reducing. Thickened skin and cracked heels are painlessly reduced. Painful corns are removed.

A verruca is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and is a common condition in children and adults alike. Treatment options are varied but unfortunately none of them are 100% guaranteed to clear the virus. 

Verruca can be a painful condition and the podiatrist can help you choose a treatment option following an assessment.

Ingrowing toenails can be very painful, and can become infected if not treated appropriately. Firstly, your podiatrist will have assessed your suitability for this minor procedure during your initial assessment. Information will have been provided on what to expect before, during and after the procedure. You will need to attend a follow up appointment 72 hours post surgery for a redressing.

Your podiatrist will complete your annual diabetic update which includes checking your circulation, sensation and assessing the level of risk of you developing a diabetic foot ulcer. Your podiatrist will inform your GP of the outcome of this assessment.

This appointment is for patient’s who are already diagnosed as diabetic.

Nails will be cut and any hard skin/corns will be removed.
